Bring a tired XDM magazine back to life

The BB follower is the small polymer part that pushes the BB stack up the magazine so each round feeds into the hop. When it wears, cracks or deforms you get misfeeds, double-feeds and jams. This genuine WE-Tech replacement restores smooth, reliable feeding to your WE Airsoft XDM gas magazines.

OEM fit, built to last

Because it is a direct OEM part moulded from durable polymer, it drops into the XDM magazine exactly as the original did, with no filing or fettling, and stands up to the repeated cycling of gas blowback use.

An intermediate fitting job

This part sits under spring tension during fitting and removal, so it is not one for a first-time tech. Done carefully it is straightforward, but rushed it can damage the follower, spring or magazine. If in doubt, leave it to a qualified technician.

Repair, do not replace

A new follower costs a fraction of a whole magazine, so it pays to repair. Let our Kent repair workshop fit it, or browse more airsoft spares and accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Which magazines does this follower fit?

It is the replacement BB follower for WE Airsoft XDM series gas magazines. It is specific to the XDM pattern, so check your magazine matches before ordering, and contact us if you are unsure.

Is this an easy part to fit?

Not really. The follower sits under spring tension during fitting and removal, so we rate it as an intermediate-level job. Rushing it can damage the follower, spring or magazine body.

Can Platoon Stores fit it for me?

Yes. Our Tech-It workshop in Kent services and repairs gas magazines and pistols. If you would rather not risk fitting it yourself, contact us and we will handle it.

Why has my old follower failed?

Followers wear, crack or lose shape over time and hard use, which causes misfeeds, double-feeds and BBs jamming in the mag. A fresh follower usually restores smooth, reliable feeding.

Is it cheaper than a new magazine?

Considerably. Replacing a single follower costs a fraction of a whole gas magazine, so repairing a mag you already own is the sensible, cost-effective choice.
