This is the official Wiley X microfibre cleaning cloth, built to keep tactical and ballistic eyewear crystal clear. It is the small piece of kit that protects a far more expensive one: your lenses. Soft microfibre lifts dust, skin oils and fingerprints away from the surface rather than grinding them into it.

Modern shooting glasses and goggles rely on anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings for clear sight lines. Tissues, paper towels and shirt sleeves carry hidden grit that scores those coatings over time. This microfibre weave is engineered specifically for optical lenses, so it cleans without leaving swirl marks or hazing.

Dry or wet

Will this scratch my lenses?

No. Microfibre is designed to lift grit and oils away from the lens surface rather than dragging it across the coating, which is exactly what happens when you wipe lenses on a shirt, tissue or paper towel. It is safe on anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings.

Can I use it wet with a lens spray?

Yes. You can use it dry to buff away dust and smudges, or dampen it with a dedicated lens cleaner or anti-fog solution to shift stubborn fingerprints and skin oils. Avoid household glass cleaners, which can strip lens coatings.

Is it only for Wiley X eyewear?

It is a genuine Wiley X accessory, but as a general microfibre lens cloth it works equally well on any airsoft goggles, shooting glasses, sunglasses or camera lenses.

How do I keep the cloth clean?

Shake it out after use and wash it periodically by hand or on a gentle machine cycle without fabric softener. A clean cloth is essential, as trapped grit is what causes fine scratches.
