Genuine ballistic eye protection

The Wiley X Spear is a low profile tactical goggle built to a genuine ballistic standard, not just a comfort rating. Both lenses are shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate that meet the MIL-PRF-32432(GL) military ballistic standard, the ANSI Z87.1-2010 high velocity and high mass impact standards, and EN 166 B. That level of protection covers military and police tactical use, adventure sports and airsoft skirmishing with a wide margin over any UK airsoft muzzle energy.

Two lenses for every condition

This is the two lens kit, supplied with a clear lens and a smoke grey lens. Fit the clear lens for indoor sites, dawn, dusk and night play, then switch to the smoke grey lens to kill glare on bright days. Both lenses block 100 percent of harmful UVA and UVB rays and deliver distortion free clarity, so your target picture stays sharp all day.

Seal out the elements

The Spear carries Wiley X’s removable Facial Cavity seal, which eliminates reflected glare and seals out wind, dust and debris while still allowing airflow to fight fogging. The flexible, durable frame is comfortable under a helmet or cap and holds a secure fit through hard movement.

Ready to run out of the box

Your kit arrives in a soft carry case with a goggle sleeve that protects the lenses from scratches and doubles as a microfibre cleaning cloth. Yes. The Spear lenses are shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate rated to the MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic standard and ANSI Z87.1 high velocity impact standard, which comfortably exceeds the muzzle energy of any UK airsoft gun. They are ideal full seal eye protection for skirmishing.

What lenses come in the kit?

This kit ships with two lenses: a clear lens for low light, indoor and night use, and a smoke grey lens for bright daylight and glare reduction. You can swap between them quickly to suit conditions.

Do the goggles fog up?

The Spear uses a vented frame and a removable Facial Cavity seal that promotes airflow to reduce fogging. Keeping the seal fitted and avoiding covering the vents gives the best anti-fog performance during high activity.

Will they fit over prescription glasses?

The Spear is a low profile goggle designed to sit close to the face, so it is not intended to fit over most prescription frames. Wiley X offers a separate Rx insert system for prescription wearers if you need corrected vision.

How do I clean and store the lenses?

Use the supplied microfibre sleeve, which doubles as a cleaning cloth, and store the goggles in the soft carry case when not in use. Avoid abrasive cloths or solvents so the T-Shell scratch resistant coating stays intact.
