The Wiley X WX Boss pairs a matte black frame with a grey silver flash mirrored lens made from shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate. It meets the demanding ANSI Z87.1 high velocity and high mass impact standard plus EN 166 F, so your eyes are shielded from flying grit, branches and debris out on the range or in the field.

Climate Control facial seal

A removable facial cavity seal clips in behind the frame to keep out dust, pollen, wind and low peripheral light, a real benefit on dusty ranges or blustery days. Take the seal out and the WX Boss becomes a comfortable, good-looking pair of everyday sunglasses.

All-day clarity and comfort

The lens blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays while delivering distortion-free clarity, and anti-fog and scratch-resistant coatings keep your view sharp. The lightweight wraparound frame stays put and stays comfortable through long days outdoors.

Are the WX Boss suitable for airsoft?

No. While the lens meets ANSI Z87.1 and EN 166 F impact standards for general use, Wiley X do not rate the WX Boss for airsoft or impact sports. For skirmishing choose ballistic-rated eyewear such as the Wiley X Vapor.

What does the removable facial seal do?

The Climate Control facial cavity seal clips behind the frame to block dust, pollen, wind and peripheral light. Remove it and the WX Boss wears like a standard pair of sunglasses for everyday use.

What tint is the lens?

It is a grey base lens with a silver flash mirror coating, transmitting roughly 12 to 15% of light. That makes it ideal for bright, sunny conditions while keeping colours true.

Can I get prescription lenses fitted?

The WX Boss is Rx ready and can be paired with the Wiley X prescription system. Speak to us or your optician about lens options for your prescription.

What is included in the kit?

You receive the glasses with the grey silver flash lens fitted, the removable facial seal, a retention leash and a protective case, so you have everything for both sport and street use.
