The ZCI High Torque Motor is built for players who run stronger springs or higher FPS builds and want their AEG to cycle them cleanly. With a 22 TPA winding biased toward torque, it pulls heavier internals with authority, delivering the snappy semi-auto trigger response that separates a good build from a great one.

Neodymium power

At its heart are powerful neodymium magnets, giving the motor the grunt to drive your gearbox hard while improving overall reliability. It is a proven, affordable upgrade over a tired stock motor and a favourite among UK tech-it players.

Long axle for M4-style AEGs

This is the long-type version, designed for Version 2 gearboxes as found in M4, M16 and similar rifles. A hard-wearing steel pinion gear comes fitted, ready to mesh with your bevel gear straight out of the box.

Flexible power options

Run it on 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo, or a 9.6V NiMH pack, to suit your build. Remember to set the motor height correctly on installation for smooth, quiet running. See our airsoft repair and servicing if you would rather we fit it for you.

What is a high torque motor best for?

A high torque motor is the right choice when you are running a stronger spring, a higher FPS build or want crisp semi-auto trigger response. The extra torque lets the motor pull heavier internals reliably without bogging down.

Will this fit my rifle?

It is a long axle motor designed for Version 2 gearboxes as found in M4, M16 and similar AEGs. Check that your rifle uses a long-type motor before ordering, as short-type gearboxes need the short version.

What does 22 TPA mean?

TPA stands for turns per armature. A higher turn count like 22 TPA biases the motor toward torque rather than outright speed, making it well suited to driving stronger springs and giving a snappy trigger pull.

What battery should I use with it?

It runs happily on 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo, or 9.6V NiMH packs. An 11.1V LiPo will give the sharpest trigger response and best performance with heavier springs, provided the rest of your gearbox is up to it.

Does it need any setup to fit?

As with any motor swap, you should set the motor height correctly using the adjustment screw in the grip so the pinion and bevel gear mesh properly. Too tight or too loose will cause noise, wear or poor performance.
