The 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier is a lightweight, high-performance rig that has become a benchmark in its class. A 500D nylon shell with padded front and back panels keeps it tough yet comfortable, ready for range days, duty use and everything in between.

Configure it your way

Oversized laser-cut loop MOLLE combined with a traditional web MOLLE platform lets you mount pouches, admin panels and accessories exactly where you want them. A top admin pocket with a hook-and-loop closure and pull tab keeps essentials fast to reach.

Comfort and safety under load

Padded yoke shoulder straps and perforated airflow panels spread weight and vent heat, so the carrier stays wearable through long sessions. A low-profile grab-drag handle aids casualty extraction, and a single-hand quick-release cable ditches the whole rig in one movement when seconds count.

Plates for protection or training

The TacTec takes standard medium and large ESAPI ballistic plates, and it just as happily holds weighted plates for rucking, CrossFit and fitness work. The skeletonised cummerbund adjusts from roughly 52 to 57 inches to fit builds from S to XL.
