Long Runtime In A Slim Pack

At 1600mAh this is one of the largest capacity LiPo packs we carry, and the stick format keeps it slim enough to slide into a crane stock or a stock tube. If your gun has the room for it, more capacity simply means longer between charges, which on a full game day is the difference between carrying a spare and not bothering.

The Shape

It measures 13 x 30 x 92mm, so it is long and narrow rather than blocky. That suits stock tubes, some handguards and the longer battery spaces on full size rifles. It will not go in a PEQ box. Measure before you order.

Deans Or Tamiya

We stock these in both where we can. Deans T-plug connectors carry current more efficiently than Tamiya and are what most people move to when they upgrade, but a Deans battery only fits an AEG already wired for Deans. Check your gun first. If you want to convert your gun, our Rochester workshop does it properly.

Looking After It

Charge LiPo packs with a proper balance charger, never a NiMH charger, and never leave one charging unattended. A charging bag and a low voltage alarm are both cheap and both worth having. Do not run a LiPo flat: once a pack is drained below its safe floor it may refuse to take charge again and can damage your AEG. Stop shooting as soon as you notice the rate of fire dropping off. Changing the connector yourself voids the warranty, but we can do it for you at the shop.

Chargers, alarms and spares are all in our batteries, gas and BBs range.

Frequently asked questions

Where does a stick battery fit?

In long, narrow spaces: crane stocks, stock tubes and some handguards. At 13 x 30 x 92mm it will not fit a PEQ box, so check what shape your gun takes before ordering.

What is the burst rate for?

The 40C burst rate is what the pack can deliver in short spikes, such as the moment the motor starts turning. The 20C continuous figure is what it sustains, and that is the number that matters most day to day.

Is Deans better than Tamiya?

Deans connectors carry current more efficiently and are the usual upgrade. The catch is that the battery and the gun have to match, so a Deans pack will not connect to a Tamiya wired AEG.

How should I store it?

At roughly half charge, somewhere cool, and never fully flat. Leaving a LiPo empty for a long period is the most common way people kill one.
