Realistic blowback 1911

The Barra 1911 is a full-metal CO2 blowback pistol modelled on the classic 1911 service automatic. Every trigger pull cycles the metal slide for genuine recoil feel, firing .177 (4.5mm) steel BBs in semi-automatic.

Drop-out metal magazine

A full-size, one-piece metal magazine holds both the 12g CO2 capsule and 18 steel BBs. It drops free like a real pistol mag for fast reloads, with the CO2 tensioned by an Allen key in the base.

Built for handling

The frame and slide are metal with checkered polymer grips, weighing around 2.07lb with an overall length near 8.6 inches. A chrome smoothbore barrel, manual thumb safety and grip safety, and an integral Picatinny rail for a light or laser round out the package.

Performance and the law

Velocity runs about 320 to 340 fps, well under the UK 6 ft/lb air pistol limit. Grab spare BBs and CO2 here. Sold to over 18s only.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Barra 1911 have real blowback?

Yes. Each trigger pull cycles the full-metal slide back and forth, delivering realistic recoil feel that mimics a genuine 1911 automatic.

How many BBs does it hold?

The full-size, one-piece metal magazine holds 18 steel BBs and also carries the 12g CO2 capsule. It drops free from the grip for quick reloads.

Where does the CO2 go?

The 12g CO2 capsule is loaded into the drop-out magazine and tensioned with an Allen key in the base, keeping the grip clean and the reload realistic.

Is it UK legal without a licence?

Yes. At around 320 to 340 fps with steel BBs the muzzle energy sits well under the 6 ft/lb air pistol limit, so no certificate is needed. It is an over-18 purchase.

Can I mount a light or laser?

Yes. There is an integral Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover, so you can fit a compatible torch or laser unit.
