Ballistic protection, everyday comfort

The Bolle Tryon BSSI pairs certified ballistic protection with a light, sporty half-frame design. Rated to EN166 FT and STANAG 2920, it delivers the impact resistance airsoft demands while staying comfortable enough for a full day on site at just 26g.

Smoke lens for bright conditions

The smoke lens transmits 13% of light, cutting glare on sunny days and open outdoor fields while keeping targets and terrain sharp. It also filters 99.99% of UVA and UVB, doubling as reliable sun protection off the field.

Stays clear when you push hard

Bolle’s Platinum ASAF coating resists both fogging and scratches, so the lens holds a clear view through exertion and stands up to repeated cleaning. FLEX 160 co-injected temples and a non-slip bridge lock the glasses in place during movement.

Ready to run

Each pair ships with a microfibre drawstring pouch for safe carry and lens cleaning. See more eye protection in our tactical gear range.

Frequently asked questions

Are these glasses rated for airsoft?

Yes. The Tryon BSSI is a ballistic-rated safety glass certified to EN166 FT and STANAG 2920, offering the impact protection needed for airsoft eye safety.

When should I use the smoke lens?

The smoke tint with 13% light transmission is ideal for bright outdoor and daylight conditions, cutting glare while keeping the view sharp.

Do they fog up during play?

The Platinum ASAF anti-fog coating is designed to resist fogging under high exertion, though airflow and full-face masks still affect any lens in humid conditions.

Will they fit under a mesh mask?

The low-profile half-frame wrap and 26g weight make them well suited to wearing under a lower-face mask, with FLEX 160 temples holding a secure fit.

Do they protect against UV?

Yes. The lenses filter 99.99% of UVA and UVB, making them a genuine dual-purpose option for outdoor skirmishing and everyday sun protection.
