Down is brilliant when it is clean and lofty and useless when it is dirty and flat. Grangers Wash + Repel Down 2 in 1 cleans and reproofs down jackets and sleeping bags in a single wash, restoring the loft that traps warmth and the water repellency that keeps the fill dry.

Two jobs, one wash

Rather than washing and then reproofing separately, this formula does both at once, saving water, energy and time. It lifts dirt and body oils that make down clump, then adds a durable repellent finish so moisture beads off and breathability is maintained.

Easy to apply

Use two 50ml caps per item poured into the detergent drawer, wash on a full cycle at 30C, then air dry or apply gentle heat to activate the repellency and fluff the fill back up.

Kinder chemistry

The formula is PFC-free and Bluesign approved, and the bottle is 100% recycled. It is a smart, responsible way to extend the life of expensive down kit instead of replacing it.

What is this designed for?

It is a wash-in product for down-filled kit such as down jackets and sleeping bags. It cleans and reproofs in one cycle, restoring both loft and water repellency.

How much should I use?

Use two 50ml caps, that is 100ml, per item, adding 50ml for each additional item. Pour it straight into your machine's detergent drawer.

What wash setting do I use?

Wash on a full cycle at 30C, or follow the garment's care label. Air dry, or apply gentle heat such as a tumble dryer on low to fully activate the repellency and restore loft.

Why does down need special treatment?

Ordinary detergents strip the natural oils and repellency from down, causing it to clump and lose warmth. This formula cleans gently and reproofs so the down lofts and insulates properly again.

Is it environmentally responsible?

Yes. It is PFC-free and Bluesign approved, and the bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic, so you can care for your kit with a lower environmental impact.
