What this adaptor does
The Hawke Weaver Clamp to Stud Bipod Adaptor solves a common mounting problem. Many modern air rifles and rifles carry a Weaver or Picatinny accessory rail on the underside of the fore-end, but most quality bipods, such as Harris-pattern and Hawke stud-mount models, attach to a traditional sling swivel stud. This small clamp bridges the two. It locks onto the rail and presents a single swivel stud ready to accept your bipod.
Where it fits
It is designed for a bottom-mounted Weaver or Picatinny rail on the forend of the stock. Once clamped in place it gives you the stud that the stock never had, without any permanent modification to the gun.
Bipod and sling compatibility
The stud accepts stud-mount bipods, including the Hawke bipod range and Harris-type bipods, and can also take a sling swivel that shares the same stud. Hawke lists it directly as the recommended way to run their bipods on a railed forend.

Ideal for hunters and target shooters who have upgraded to a railed stock or chassis and want to keep using a familiar stud-mount bipod. A low-cost, reversible fix.
