Three tools, one compact package

The Kombat UK 3 Way Entrenching Tool combines a shovel, a pickaxe and a saw edge in a single folding unit. Instead of packing three separate implements, you carry one tool that reconfigures for whatever the ground throws at you, from soft turf to stony, root-bound soil.

Lock it to the job

The head folds and locks at multiple angles, so you can set it flat for standard digging, angled for trenching, or turned for use as a hoe when clearing and levelling. That flexibility makes short work of fire pits, drainage runs and camp groundwork.

Built to take punishment

A steel head with a hard-wearing black finish handles repeated digging and prying, while the flat rear of the spade doubles as a hammer for driving in tent pegs and stakes. The push-button handle collapses smoothly to shrink the tool for transport.

Packs down, travels light

Folding from roughly 57cm open to about 22.5cm packed, it slots into the included nylon pouch and stows easily in a pack or vehicle. It is a genuinely useful piece of kit for camping, bushcraft, airsoft field days and expeditions.

Frequently asked questions

What are the three functions?

The head configures as a shovel for digging, a pickaxe for breaking hard or stony ground, and it carries a saw edge for cutting through roots and light branches.

How small does it pack down?

The push-button handle collapses so the tool folds from around 57cm open down to roughly 22.5cm, small enough to slip into the supplied nylon pouch or a rucksack side pocket.

Can I use it to knock in tent pegs?

Yes. Fold the spade back and the flat rear of the head works as a hammer for driving pegs and stakes, saving you carrying a separate mallet.

Is it strong enough for real digging?

It has a steel head with a protective black finish and a locking angle adjustment, making it well suited to digging fire pits, drainage channels and field latrines on camps and expeditions.

Does it come with a carry case?

Yes. A durable nylon pouch is included so you can stow the folded tool cleanly and clip or pack it without the head snagging your other kit.
