Will alkaline cells work where a silver-oxide SR41 is specified?

In most low-drain devices, yes. LR41 (alkaline) and SR41 (silver oxide) share the same size. Silver oxide holds a steadier voltage for precision devices like watches, but for lasers and torches the alkaline LR41 works fine and costs less.
