Will this rail fit my MP5 or G3 replica?

It fits the common MP5 and G3 series AEGs built on the Tokyo Marui pattern, which includes most Cyma, JG and Well models. It uses the standard claw mount points on the receiver, so as long as your gun has those it will fit.

Why choose the long version over a short mount?

The extended top rail gives you more real estate to position an optic, add a magnifier behind a red dot, or run a longer scope with correct eye relief. It is the better choice if you want flexibility in where your sight sits.

Is it low profile enough to co-witness iron sights?

This is a low profile claw mount that keeps the rail close to the bore. Whether you can co-witness depends on your specific optic height, but the low design gives you the best chance of a comfortable, heads-up sight picture.

Does it need any tools to fit?

Yes, you will need basic hex or Allen keys to bolt it onto the receiver claw points. It is a quick job that most players can do at home in a few minutes without stripping the gun.

Can I mount a torch or laser on it too?

The top rail is a true 20mm Picatinny section, so it accepts any standard rail accessory including red dots, scopes, magnifiers and compact torches. For side or offset mounting you would want a dedicated offset mount instead.
