Will this tracer unit fit my gun?

It has a 14mm CCW female thread that fits most rifles and SMGs, and it ships with an 11mm male adapter so you can run it on many pistols too. Check your barrel thread; most airsoft guns use 14mm CCW or 11mm CW.

Do I need special BBs to use it?

Yes. Tracer units charge photoluminescent tracer BBs as they pass through, so they only work with tracer ammunition. Nuprol recommend green tracer BBs for the brightest, longest-lasting glow.

How is it powered and how long does it last?

It is USB-B rechargeable and the charging cable is included, so there are no batteries to replace. A full charge gives roughly 4 hours of use, around 2000 rounds, which comfortably covers a skirmish day.

Does it stay on and drain the battery?

No. The unit enters sleep mode after one minute of inactivity to preserve charge, then reactivates the instant you take your next shot, so it is always ready without wasting power.

Can it double as a mock suppressor?

Yes. The compact aluminium body looks like a short suppressor on the end of your barrel, adding to the look of your setup while giving you night-play capability. It is a functional accessory, not an age-restricted item.
