Why Raise An Optic
Sitting an optic straight on the rail often puts it lower than your eye naturally falls, so you end up craning your neck down onto the stock to find the dot. A riser lifts the sight to meet your head instead. It sounds like a small thing and it is the difference between finding your sight picture instantly and hunting for it.
The Other Reason
Height also buys you clearance. If you run a magnifier, a night vision device or a helmet mounted setup, a riser gets the optic up where those can work together. That is why raised mounts have become standard on modern builds rather than a niche accessory.

Nuprol have not published the height, length or slot count for this riser, and height is the entire specification of a riser. We are not going to guess it. Ring the shop and we will measure one for you, or bring your optic in and we will sit it on and see how it looks.
