What it is

When a fastener absolutely must not move, the 4uantum Oil Resistant Threadlocker Pen (Permanent) is the answer. This red, high-strength thread adhesive leaves a strong bonding material on the thread as it cures, locking screws and external fixtures against the constant vibration every airsoft gun produces.

Oil resistant hold

The formula is oil resistant, so it keeps its grip even around the oiled and greased assemblies near a gearbox. That makes it ideal for high-stress fasteners and external fixtures you do not plan to remove regularly.

Cure times

Handling cure is around 30 minutes, functional cure around 3 hours and full cure at roughly 24 hours. Allow the joint to reach strength before subjecting it to load.

Clean, controlled application

The click pen dispenses one correctly sized drop for most airsoft screw threads. Avoid holding it down continuously, and wipe the tip after use. Find more maintenance kit in our airsoft accessories range, or let our Kent repair service handle the strip-down.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use the permanent (red) version?

Use it on high-stress fasteners or external fixtures that do not need regular disassembly, where you want maximum resistance to vibration and loosening.

How do I remove a permanently locked screw?

Because the bond is strong, removal usually needs localised heat, such as a soldering iron on the screw for a couple of minutes, followed by hand tools. Take care not to burn yourself.

How long does it take to cure?

Handling cure is around 30 minutes and functional cure around 3 hours, with full cure at roughly 24 hours. Let it reach strength before loading the joint.

Will it survive near oiled parts?

Yes. The formula is oil resistant, so it keeps its grip even around the oiled and greased assemblies found near an airsoft gearbox.

How much should I apply?

One click of the pen gives a single, correctly sized drop for most airsoft threads. Avoid pressing continuously as too much can be dispensed, and wipe the tip after use.
