The Pirate Arms M4 Aluminium Outer Barrel is a two-part system that lets you tune your rifle’s profile to the game. Run the 223mm base section on its own for a compact CQB carbine, or thread on the 117mm extender to reach the longer SOPMod and Mk18 lengths that many marksman builds favour, all from a single, cost-effective part.

Light, strong and easy to run

Machined from aluminium, the barrel keeps front-end weight low at around 210g so your replica stays fast-handling and balanced. Dual grooves locate a fixed M4-style front sight cleanly, and the design installs easily even on free-floating rail systems.

Standard threading for your muzzle kit

Both barrel ends carry a 14mm CCW thread, the airsoft standard, so your existing flash hider, tracer unit or mock suppressor transfers straight over. That makes it a simple, flexible upgrade or replacement for a damaged original.

Fitting made easy in Kent

Will this barrel fit my M4 AEG?

It is designed for the widely used M4 and M16 AEG platform and fits a broad range of upper receivers. Because there are many replica brands, check that your upper accepts a standard M4-pattern outer barrel before ordering, particularly on proprietary or gas builds.

How does the two-part design work?

The barrel comes as a base section plus a threaded extender. Run the base alone for compact CQB length, or add the extender for longer SOPMod and Mk18 style builds. Both ends use a 14mm CCW thread for flexibility.

What thread does it use for muzzle devices?

It uses a standard 14mm CCW (counter-clockwise) thread, which accepts the majority of airsoft flash hiders, tracer units and mock suppressors.

Do I need special tools to install it?

Fitting is straightforward, even with free-floating rail systems, but you may need an M4 barrel wrench or armourer's tool to tighten the barrel nut correctly. If you would rather leave it to a technician, our in-house service can help.
