Get your semi-auto back

If your AEG dumps a full burst even when the selector is set to semi, a worn cut off lever is a likely culprit. This is the small part inside the gearbox that trips the trigger mechanism to fire a single shot, and when it wears the fire selector stops talking to the internals correctly.

Steel, not soft pot-metal

The Rocket (SHS) V2 cut off lever is made from hardened steel, unlike the flimsy pot-metal levers fitted to many stock guns. That means it stands up to the constant knock of the gearbox cycle and keeps working long after a cheaper part would have rounded off.

Wide V2 compatibility

It is a direct replacement for Version 2 gearboxes, so it drops into the huge range of AEGs built on that platform, including M4, MP5 and SCAR variants. Rocket (SHS) parts are a well-known low-cost, high-quality upgrade choice.

Frequently asked questions

What does a cut off lever do?

The cut off lever, sometimes called a yaw bar, tells the gearbox to fire a single shot on semi-auto. Without a working one, the AEG will only fire full-auto.

My AEG fires full-auto on semi. Will this fix it?

Very often, yes. A worn or damaged cut off lever is a common cause of this fault. Replacing it usually restores crisp semi-auto fire selection.

Which gearboxes does it fit?

It is designed for Version 2 gearboxes, which covers popular platforms such as the M4, MP5 and SCAR. It is not for Version 3 gearboxes.

Why choose the steel version?

Steel is far more durable than the soft pot-metal used in many stock cut off levers, so it resists wear and keeps your fire selector working reliably for longer.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes. Gearbox work needs care, so our Kent workshop can fit and test this part as part of a service or repair.
