Two clips in one

The Nite Ize S-Biner #5 is an S-shaped clip with a spring wire gate at each end. That means you can secure an item on one side and clip the whole thing to something on the other, which makes it handy for hanging, connecting and organising kit, keys and gear.

Stainless steel build

This is the stainless steel version, chosen for its weather resistance and strength. The body and both wire gates are stainless, so it shrugs off outdoor use without rusting up.

The #5 size

The #5 is the largest in the S-Biner range at roughly 111mm long by 49mm wide, with a weight rating of 100 lb (around 45 kg). That makes it strong enough for tools, luggage, water bottles and heavier gear, not just light everyday items.

Everyday and outdoor use

It is a genuinely useful bit of kit for webbing, packs, belt loops and keyrings. Do note it is a utility clip rated for holding and connecting gear, and is not designed or certified for climbing or life support.
