The Winter Magazine
CO2 sits at a considerably higher pressure than green gas and, more importantly, holds that pressure far better as the temperature drops. On a January game day a green gas magazine goes soft and the slide starts short stroking. A CO2 magazine keeps cycling. If you play through the winter, this is how you keep a gas pistol in the fight.
It Fits More Than The M17
Worth knowing: this is listed as an M17 magazine but the Proforce platform shares magazines across the family, so it also runs in the P320 X-Carry. If you own the X-Carry, this is a legitimate magazine for it and not a compromise.
The Trade Off
CO2 is harder on internals than green gas because of the higher pressure, and it raises velocity, so re-chrono after switching rather than assuming you are still where you were. Some sites also restrict CO2, so check your site rules. Our Rochester range will chrono it for you.
Spares
Gas pistols run dry quickly, and a magazine holds both the gas and the BBs, so when it is empty you are out of the fight until you refill. One spare is sensible, two is better. More in our gas and BBs range.
