What this adapter is for

The ASG Small Female to Large Male Tamiya Adapter is a short in-line lead that bridges the two most common airsoft battery connectors. Fit it between a battery wearing a small (mini) female Tamiya connector and a gun or charger lead that expects the large male Tamiya plug, and the two simply mate up.

Why airsofters keep one handy

Battery stocks rarely stay tidy. You end up with small-type nunchuck and stick batteries alongside guns wired for the large connector. Rather than resolder leads, this adapter lets you run what you have on hand, which is why many players keep one in the gearbag as a field fix.
