Notes that survive the weather

The Snugpak All Weather Notebook is built for the field, where a standard pad turns to pulp in the rain. Its 48 water-resistant pages keep taking notes in wet, cold and inclement conditions, and your writing stays legible whether you are logging observations or recording mission-critical information.

Pen or pencil, your choice

Unlike some waterproof pads, this notebook works with both pens and pencils. A 2B soft pencil gives the most reliable results on damp pages, but standard pens mark it well too, so you can grab whatever is to hand and keep working.

Practical field format

Spiral bound along the top edge, it opens flat and supports easy one-handed writing on the move. At 10 x 15cm and just 80g it slips into most A6 military notepad covers, and the mix of lined and gridded pages suits both prose notes and sketches or grid references.

More than just paper

A printed inch and centimetre ruler runs along the page for field measurements and photography scale, while a conversion chart inside the back cover covers lengths, weights and temperatures. It is a genuine kit-bag essential. Browse more field kit in our tactical gear range.

Frequently asked questions

Will it really work in the rain?

Yes. The pages are water resistant, so they do not turn to mush when wet and your writing stays legible. It is designed specifically for field use in inclement weather where a normal notebook would fail.

Can I use a normal pen or does it need a special one?

It works with both pens and pencils. A 2B soft pencil gives the best results because pencil marks are reliable even when the page is wet, but standard pens work well too.

How is it bound and sized?

It is spiral bound along the top edge, which makes one-handed writing easy, and measures 10 x 15cm so it fits comfortably in most A6 military notepad holders.

What are the extra printed features?

The notebook includes a printed inch and centimetre ruler, handy for field work and photography, plus a conversion chart inside the back cover for lengths, weights and temperatures.

What is it useful for?

Everything from general note taking to recording mission-critical information, navigation notes, kit lists and observations. It is a genuine kit essential for military, cadet, bushcraft and outdoor use.
