Consistent control on a RIS front end

FMA’s TD Forward Grip is a solid polymer stubby grip built to interface with 20mm RIS rail systems. The short profile encourages the same hand placement every time you shoulder the rifle, helping you manage recoil and move smoothly between targets. It is a small change that makes a rifle noticeably easier to run.

Handy on-board storage

The base of the grip folds open to reveal a compartment ideal for small tools, spare optic or light batteries and aiming device spares. Keep the bits you always need on the gun rather than lost in a pouch.

Grip that stays put

A ribbed exterior adds traction even with gloves, while the stubby shape keeps the grip clear of slings and protruding kit as you move. Run it as a vertical grip or thumb-over-bore, whichever gives you the steadiest hold.

Fit and options

This is the RIS version and mounts straight to any 20mm rail with the supplied steel hardware. KeyMod and M-LOK variants are available if your handguard uses those standards, so no adapters are needed. Available in black or dark earth. See our full airsoft accessories range for more upgrades.

Frequently asked questions

What rails does this grip fit?

This version fits any 20mm RIS or Picatinny rail directly. FMA also make KeyMod and M-LOK versions, or you can use a rail adapter to fit those systems to RIS.

What can I store inside it?

The hinged base opens to a compartment sized for CR123A batteries, small tools or aiming device spares, keeping essentials within reach.

Why choose a stubby grip?

The short profile aids consistent hand placement and is far less likely to snag on slings or gear than a full-length grip, while still giving solid control.

How is it held?

It works with a traditional vertical grip hold or a modern thumb-over-bore hold, so you can set it up to suit your shooting style.

What colours are available?

Black or dark earth. Choose the finish that best matches your rifle where the option is shown.
