Reach Without Losing Speed
A red dot is unbeatable up close and starts to run out of usefulness at distance. A magnifier fixes that without you giving up either: keep the dot for close work, flip the magnifier in behind it when you need to identify or engage something further out, flip it away again. You get both sight pictures from one setup.
The Mount Is The Clever Part
It sits on a quick detach flip to side mount that can be configured to swing to the left or the right, so it works whichever shoulder you shoot from and whatever else is on your rail. There are two heights available for co-witness, which matters: if the magnifier does not sit at the same height as your dot, you will be looking at the edge of the picture rather than through the middle of it.
Built To Be Knocked About
Shockproof, waterproof and fog proof, at 73.7mm long and 270g. That is genuinely compact for a magnifier, and the weight is far enough back on the rail that it does not unbalance the gun the way a heavy scope does.
