Overview

The ASG Ultimate Upgrade Series 8mm Graphite Bushings are a six-piece set for airsoft AEG gearboxes. They support the gear axles and are made from a self-lubricating material, offering a tough, low-maintenance alternative to standard or ball-bearing bushings.

Why upgrade

These bushings are manufactured from porous sintered steel combined with graphite. The porous metal absorbs oil and grease and releases it in use, which greatly reduces the need for regular lubrication. Compared with solid metal bushings, the graphite content also lowers the risk of grinding or burning your gear axles, helping protect expensive gears.

Fitment and compatibility

The dimensions are optimised to fit almost any 8mm gearbox without being too loose or damaging the shell during installation. There are six bushings, enough for the bevel, spur and sector gears on both sides. ASG states they can be used with any upgrade combination, with no speed or power limitations. Confirm your bore size, as 6mm and 9mm gearboxes are also common.

Fitting and servicing

Correct shimming is essential for smooth, quiet running, so fitting is best done during a service. Our airsoft repair and servicing team in Kent can install and reshim for you, or browse more airsoft accessories and parts to finish your rebuild.
