A crisper trigger for your V2 gearbox

The ASG Ultimate trigger switch is a direct upgrade for Version 2 airsoft gearboxes. The trigger switch is the electrical contact that fires your AEG, and the stock item is often a weak point: over time the contacts burn and pit, giving a mushy trigger and robbing your gun of power. This ASG switch fixes that.

Built to handle current

The body is moulded from high-temperature-resistant polymer so it stands up to the heat generated under sustained fire. Silver-plated contacts keep resistance low and let current flow freely, translating into a sharper trigger response, a more efficient feed of power to the motor and longer service life with less battery drain.

Wide compatibility

It fits Version 2 gearboxes across the board: M4, M16, MP5, G3, SCAR and other V2 platforms. ASG offers the assembly in both front and rear-wired layouts, so match it to where your battery lives.

Which gearbox does this switch fit?

It is made for Version 2 gearboxes, which covers the majority of AEGs including M4, M16, MP5, G3 and SCAR-pattern replicas. Confirm your gearbox is a V2 before ordering.

Why replace the trigger switch?

Stock switches burn and pit over time, causing a mushy trigger and lost power. This upgraded switch uses silver-plated contacts and a high-temp polymer body for a crisper trigger and more efficient current flow.

Do I still need a MOSFET?

A quality switch reduces arcing and contact wear, but pairing it with a MOSFET such as the GATE ASTER protects the contacts even further and is strongly recommended on higher-voltage LiPo setups.

Is it front or rear wired?

ASG offers this switch assembly for both front and rear-wired configurations. Choose the layout that matches where your battery is stored, or ask us if you are unsure.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes. Replacing a trigger switch means opening the gearbox, so if you are not comfortable doing that, our in-house Kent workshop can install it during a service.
