What this part is

The CYMA full 15 steel teeth piston is supplied complete with a matched piston head, giving you both parts in one purchase for a gearbox rebuild. The full rack of steel teeth is designed to spread load across every tooth, which suits higher-torque setups.

Build and materials

The body is glass-fibre reinforced nylon, offering strong wear resistance and the ability to endure prolonged stress better than plain polycarbonate. The ventilated piston head completes the air-cycle assembly.

Who it suits

It fits Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes used in M4, M16, AK and most standard AEGs. The full-tooth rack makes it a sound choice for high-torque and standard builds alike, and the combined assembly weighs around 29g.

Fitting and support

Correct angle of engagement keeps a full-tooth piston reliable. Our Kent airsoft repair service can fit and tune it, and related cylinders and pistons sit under airsoft accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include a piston head?

Yes. It is supplied as a complete assembly with a matched piston head, so you have both parts in one purchase for a rebuild.

Which gearbox does it fit?

It suits Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes found in M4, M16, AK and most standard AEGs. Confirm your gearbox version before ordering.

Why choose a full-tooth piston?

A full rack of steel teeth spreads the load across more teeth, making it well suited to higher-torque setups and heavier springs.

What is the body made from?

A glass-fibre reinforced nylon body, which offers superior wear resistance and handles prolonged stress better than plain polycarbonate.

Do I need to modify it?

Fitment is usually direct, but correct angle of engagement improves reliability. Our Kent workshop can fit and tune it if you prefer.
