Boil faster, burn less fuel

Wind is the enemy of any camp stove. It drags heat away from the flame, cools your pot and forces the burner to work harder, wasting precious gas. The Highlander Camping Stove Windshield creates a solid barrier around your stove so the heat stays where you need it, giving you a faster, more efficient boil every time.

Five-panel folding design

Built from lightweight aluminium, the five hinged panels shape into a curve around your stove and cookpot. The windbreak is self-standing, and two supplied pegs anchor it to the ground for reliable stability when the weather turns. It works with gas, meths and woodgas stoves of most sizes.

Packs down to nothing

At just 130g it is barely noticeable in your kit, and it folds flat to a slim 25 x 10 x 1cm that slides down the side of a pack or tucks inside a mess tin. Perfect for hiking, bushcraft, fishing and wild camping.

Field-ready outdoor kit

A small upgrade that makes a real difference to your cooking, whether you are brewing up on a hilltop or preparing a hot meal at basecamp. Browse more field gear in our tactical and outdoor range.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my camping stove?

The five panels flex and wrap around most compact and mid-size gas, meths and woodgas stoves, so it suits the majority of setups. Simply shape the panels around your burner and cookpot.

Does it really save gas?

Yes. Wind pulls heat away from the flame and cools your pot, which wastes fuel and slows the boil. Blocking that wind keeps the heat on the pan, so you use less gas and cook faster.

How does it stand up?

The concertina panels are self-standing when shaped into a curve. Two supplied pegs anchor the ends to the ground for extra stability in stronger winds.

Is it heavy to carry?

No. It weighs only 130g and folds flat to 25 x 10 x 1cm, so it slides down the side of a rucksack or inside a mess tin without adding noticeable weight.

Can I use it in strong wind?

It performs well in both light and high winds. Peg the ends down and angle the panels to face the wind for the best shelter around the flame.
