Fast, fuel-efficient boiling
The Jetboil Zip is a compact personal cooking system built around the patented FluxRing heat exchanger. That corrugated ring pulls far more heat from the flame than an open burner, boiling around half a litre of water in roughly two minutes while sipping fuel. For a brew or a hot ration meal in the field, it is hard to beat.
Stripped back and light
This is the pared-down, military-sized Jetboil. At just 340g with a 0.8L cup, it is sized for one person and trimmed of extras to keep weight and bulk down. It skips the push-button igniter of costlier models, so you light it manually, a fair trade for the lower weight and price.
Everything nests together
The whole system packs into itself: the burner and a small gas canister sit inside the cup, and the bottom cover clips on to protect it all. That cover doubles as a measuring cup and a bowl, and an insulated cozy around the cup means you can hold it and drink straight from it.
Steady in the field
An included canister stand adds stability on uneven or soft ground, so your brew stays upright where you set it down. Note the Zip is the stove system only: it runs on a separately bought isobutane-propane canister to suit your trip.
Field kit from Platoon Stores
A firm favourite with cadets, forces personnel and lightweight campers, the Jetboil Zip ships fast across the UK from Platoon Stores.
