The standard magazine release catch on many M4 and M16 airsoft AEGs is plastic, and after enough mag changes it wears, cracks or loses tension. This full metal replacement catch from SRC solves that for good, restoring a firm, positive magazine lock that will outlast the rest of the gearbox.

Wide cross-brand compatibility

It is built for SRC M4 and M16 AEGs but also fits a range of other platforms including Valken, ASG/Strike Systems and Classic Army. Tolerances differ slightly between manufacturers, so we strongly recommend comparing the length and dimensions against your current catch before installation.

Simple to fit

Unlike deep internal upgrades, this part is secured by a single cross-head screw. Most players can swap it at home in minutes with a basic screwdriver, no gearbox strip required.
