Save a magazine, do not bin it

The feed lip is the part of a gas magazine that keeps your BBs in and guides each one up into the hop. Gas blowback mags load that lip with pressure on every shot, so over time, or after a knock, it can wear, crack or snap. This replacement lip brings a tired Raven MEU / 1911 magazine back to reliable service.

Consistent feeding restored

A damaged feed lip causes BBs to spill, misfeed or double-feed. Fitting a fresh lip returns crisp, consistent BB retention and feeding, so your pistol runs the way it should when it matters.

Broad 1911 / MEU compatibility

It is designed for Raven MEU / 1911 series gas magazines and the wider 1911 / MEU pattern, which covers many WE-based and compatible mags. Check your magazine matches, or ask us if you are unsure.

Best fitted by a technician

Because the lip sits in a pressurised part of the magazine, we recommend fitting by an experienced tech. Our Kent repair workshop can do it, and you can browse more airsoft spares too.

Frequently asked questions

What does the feed lip do?

The feed lip sits at the top of the magazine. It holds the BBs inside the mag and guides each one into the hop unit as the gun cycles. If it wears or cracks, BBs escape or fail to feed properly.

Will it fit my magazine?

It fits Raven MEU / 1911 series gas magazines and the wider 1911 / MEU pattern, which includes many WE-based mags. If you are not sure your magazine matches, contact us before ordering.

Can I fit it myself?

We recommend fitting by an experienced or qualified airsoft technician. Incorrect installation can cause damage or failure that is not covered by warranty, and the part sits in a high-pressure area of the mag.

Why do feed lips break?

Gas blowback magazines put the feed lip under repeated pressure, and over time or with accidental damage it can wear, crack or snap. Replacing the lip is far cheaper than replacing the whole magazine.

Does Platoon Stores fit these?

Yes. Our Tech-It workshop in Kent fits, services and repairs gas pistols and magazines. Contact us and we will arrange to fit the feed lip for you.
