What it is

The SHS V3 Cut Off Lever is a hard-wearing steel replacement for the semi-auto lever inside Version 3 AEG gearboxes. It resets the trigger after every shot so your rifle fires crisp single rounds instead of running away into full-auto.

Why steel wins

Most stock levers are cast from soft zinc alloy that rounds off quickly, particularly for players who shoot a lot of semi. SHS machine this part from steel, making it around twice as strong, so it holds its shape and keeps fire selection consistent shot after shot.

Fitment

Designed for standard Version 3 gearboxes in platforms such as the AK and G36, it drops in without modification and includes the selector spring and fixing screw. It is a low-cost, high-value fix for one of the most common gearbox faults.

Why choose steel over the standard lever?

SHS makes this lever from steel, which is roughly twice as strong as the soft zinc-alloy levers fitted to many AEGs. That extra hardness resists wear and keeps semi-auto working reliably for longer.

My AEG will only fire full-auto. Will this help?

It usually will. A worn cut off lever is the most common reason for losing semi-auto, and this steel replacement restores the correct trigger reset. Check your trigger contacts as well while the gearbox is open.

Is the spring and screw included?

Yes. The lever comes with its selector spring and a gearbox fixing screw, so nothing extra is needed to fit it.

Which gearboxes does it fit?

It is made for standard Version 3 gearboxes, as used in AK, G36 and similar AEGs, and drops in without modification.

Can your workshop fit it for me?

Yes. Fitting means opening the gearbox, so if you would rather not do that yourself our in-house Kent techs can install it as part of a service.
