The Tokyo Marui MP7A1 is a gas blowback replica of Heckler and Koch’s compact personal defence weapon, supplied here in black. As you would expect from Tokyo Marui, it combines faithful proportions with the reliable, well-engineered internals that made the brand the benchmark in airsoft.

Realistic gas blowback

Powered by green gas, the MP7A1 delivers a snappy blowback action with genuine recoil on every shot. A selector offers safe, semi-auto and full-auto, and full-auto will empty the magazine in a lively few seconds, making it a genuinely fun and immersive replica to shoot.

Compact and CQB-ready

Weighing around 2200g, it features a four-position retractable stock and a folding vertical foregrip, so it collapses down to a very compact package. That makes it a superb close-quarters skirmish gun that is easy to carry as a sidearm or primary. It chronographs at roughly 330 to 350 fps on 0.20g BBs and feeds from a 40+1 round green gas magazine.

Yes. The MP7A1 is a realistic imitation firearm in single-colour black, so under the VCRA you must provide a valid defence such as UKARA registration to purchase it, and you must be 18 or over.

What gas does it run on?

It is designed for green gas, which gives a strong blowback kick and reliable cycling in warmer UK conditions. Performance drops in cold weather, as with all gas blowback replicas.

What FPS does it shoot?

On green gas with 0.20g BBs it runs around 330 to 350 fps, though this varies with temperature and gas. Always check it over your site's chronograph and observe the site limit on the day.

How many rounds does the magazine hold?

The standard gas magazine holds 40+1 rounds, the extra being the BB already chambered in the hop-up. Extended and AEG-style magazines are also available separately.

Is it a good CQB gun?

Yes. Its compact PDW size, folding foregrip and four-position stock make it excellent for close-quarters play, and the realistic recoil adds to the experience.
