A mirror that survives the journey

Glass mirrors and rucksacks do not mix. The Lifeventure Travel Mirror is made from shatter-resistant stainless steel, so it shrugs off the knocks and drops of expedition travel, camping and everyday adventures where a normal mirror would crack.

Packs light, packs small

At just 22g and a slim 94 x 64 x 4mm, it disappears into a wash bag, jacket pocket or the lid of a pack. That makes it a natural choice for backpackers and travellers counting every gram, as well as anyone who just wants a tidy mirror to hand.

Protected and easy to carry

A soft cover slips over the mirror to keep the surface scratch-free in transit, while the built-in neck cord means you can wear it, loop it to a tent pole or clip it to your kit. It is there when you need it and out of the way when you do not.

More than grooming

Beyond shaving and first aid, a polished steel mirror is a genuinely useful survival tool, reflecting sunlight to signal for help over long distances. It earns its place in any outdoor or emergency kit. Pair it with the rest of your gear from our tactical and outdoor range.

Frequently asked questions

Will it break in my pack?

It is made from shatter-resistant stainless steel rather than glass, so it stands up to knocks in a rucksack far better than a traditional mirror.

How heavy is it?

Just 22g, so it adds almost nothing to your kit and is ideal for lightweight and expedition packing.

What is the cover for?

The soft sleeve protects the reflective surface from scratches while it is packed away, keeping the mirror clear.

Can I hang it up?

Yes. The neck cord lets you wear it, hang it from a tent loop or clip it to your wash bag while you shave or apply first aid.

Is it useful for survival kits?

A polished stainless mirror can be used to signal for help by reflecting sunlight, which makes it a useful addition to an emergency or bushcraft kit.
