The Vortex Defender E-10 flip cap shields the ocular (eyepiece) lens of your riflescope from dust, rain, mud and knocks. A quick flick opens it, and a snap-flat spring holds the cover clear of your sight picture so you can get on target fast.

Three stop positions

The cap locks at three positions: vertical, 45 degrees and 90 degrees flat back. That lets you tuck the cover out of the way, or position an optional dope disk right where you need it.

Built to last

Moulded from tough rubber with a matte black finish, the Defender is virtually indestructible and stays quiet in the field. It fits eyepieces with an outside diameter of 41.5 to 46mm, covering most Vortex riflescopes, though a few 1-inch Viper models are excluded, so check the fit guide.

The E-10 is the eyepiece (ocular) cap, fitting the rear lens of the scope you look through. Vortex also makes objective caps (O-24 to O-56) for the front lens.
