Feel the need for speed

The ZCI High Speed Motor is built for one thing: rate of fire. Its 16 TPA winding favours RPM over torque, spinning up fast to deliver the blistering trigger response and high cyclic rate that CQB and speedsoft players love. Drop it into a moderate-spring build and watch your rounds-per-second climb.

Neodymium performance

Powerful neodymium magnets give this motor the strength to drive your gearbox at pace while keeping performance consistent. It is an easy, cost-effective way to breathe new life into a sluggish stock setup.

Long axle for M4-style AEGs

This is the long-type version for Version 2 gearboxes found in M4, M16 and similar rifles. A durable steel pinion gear is fitted as standard, ready to mesh with your bevel gear on installation.

Pair it right

Run it on 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo, or 9.6V NiMH, and consider a MOSFET to protect the trigger contacts at high rates of fire. Set the motor height correctly on fitting. Prefer a professional install? See our airsoft repair and servicing.

Frequently asked questions

What is a high speed motor best for?

A high speed motor is aimed at players chasing a high rate of fire. With a lower turn count it spins faster than a torque motor at the same voltage, making it ideal for CQB and fast-cycling builds running moderate springs.

Will this fit my rifle?

It is a long axle motor for Version 2 gearboxes as found in M4, M16 and similar AEGs. Confirm your rifle takes a long-type motor before ordering, since short-type gearboxes require the short version instead.

How is it different from the high torque version?

The 16 TPA high speed winding favours RPM over pulling power, so it cycles faster but has less stall torque. The 22 TPA high torque motor is better for heavy springs, while this one shines with lighter springs and speed-focused setups.

What battery works best with it?

It runs on 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo, or 9.6V NiMH. To get the most from a high speed motor, many players pair it with an 11.1V LiPo, ideally with a MOSFET to protect the trigger contacts at high current.

Is any setup needed when fitting it?

Yes. Set the motor height with the grip adjustment screw so the pinion meshes correctly with the bevel gear. Correct mesh is essential for quiet running, efficiency and long gear life, especially on a fast build.
