The modern take on the M4

The URGI pattern is what the M4 platform grew into: a slim, machined M-LOK handguard in place of the older quad rail, so accessories sit closer to the barrel and the rifle is far more comfortable to hold. If you have ever found a quad rail sharp and bulky under the support hand, this is the answer to that.

CNC machined, full metal

The handguard is CNC machined rather than cast, which is what gives it the clean lines and the tight fit at the receiver. Upper and lower are full metal. Together they make a rifle that holds zero on an optic and takes the normal knocks of a skirmish day without loosening up.

Familiar underneath

For all the modern furniture, it is still an M4 underneath: standard M4 pattern AEG magazines, standard internals layout, and a quick-detach gearbox so servicing is quick. That means parts, magazines and upgrade paths are easy to find. See more rifles in our airsoft category, or read our beginner buyer’s guide if you are choosing your first.

Note on muzzle energy

Site limits vary and guns are chronographed on arrival at most fields. Ask us in the shop or on the phone and we will confirm exactly where this one is set before you buy.

Important buying note

As a realistic imitation firearm, this needs a valid UKARA defence or another recognised defence under the VCR Act, and you must be 18 or over.

Frequently asked questions

What is M-LOK?

M-LOK is a slotted mounting standard. Accessories bolt directly into the slots, so they sit closer to the barrel than on a quad rail and the handguard stays slim and comfortable.

What does URGI mean?

It stands for Upper Receiver Group Improved, the more modern M4 configuration with a free floating M-LOK handguard rather than the older quad rail.

Does it take normal M4 magazines?

Yes, standard M4 pattern AEG magazines. Anything you already own for an M4 will work.

Does it need UKARA?

Yes. It is a realistic imitation firearm, so a valid UKARA registration or another recognised defence is required, and you must be 18 or over.

Is the handguard really CNC machined?

Yes, which is why the edges are clean and the fit at the receiver is tight. It is the main visual and tactile difference from a cast handguard.
