Overview

The Maxx CNC Aluminium Double O-Ring Bearing AEG Piston Head (part MX-PIS001PHS) is a premium machined piston head built to solve two common gearbox problems at once: inconsistent air seal and main-spring torsion. It is precision-cut as a one-piece part from 6061 aluminium.

Double O-ring sealing

A primary compression O-ring works with a secondary stabilising O-ring to keep the seal firm against the cylinder wall, even at high rates of fire. The ported head design channels air to hold that seal, giving strong and repeatable compression.

Ball bearing benefit

A high-quality ball bearing washer lets the main spring rotate freely as it compresses. That relieves spring twist, reduces stress and helps prevent spring fatigue, so your setup holds its power over time.

Fitting and compatibility

It is designed for M4/M16 Version 2 gearboxes and works across other versions, with an easy install for an experienced tech. As with any piston head, check clearance and shimming during the build. Our Kent airsoft repair workshop can install and bench-test it, and more upgrade parts are under airsoft accessories.
