Built on Tokyo Marui EG spec

The EG barrel series is based on the Tokyo Marui specification, so it drops into a huge range of AEGs including Marui Next Gen Recoil (NGRS), VFC, G&G and Krytac. That wide compatibility makes it a safe, proven choice whatever platform you shoot.

Which length do I need for my rifle?

Match the barrel to your outer barrel and platform. At Platoon Stores the 275.5mm suits HK416D models, 300mm suits SCAR-H, G36K, M733 and MC51, and 363mm suits M4A1, RIS, SR16, S-System and SG551. If unsure, measure your existing barrel.

How much accuracy will it actually add?

A tighter, more consistent 6.03mm bore improves air seal and reduces flight deviation. Combined with a quality hop bucking it produces noticeably tighter groups and better range than a worn stock brass barrel.

Is it hard to install?

Fitting an inner barrel is mechanically simple but requires stripping the gearbox or hop unit. If you are not confident, our in-house Kent airsoft techs can install and re-shim it correctly to protect your warranty and performance.

Do I need a special hop rubber to get the best from it?

For best results we recommend pairing it with the Laylax Prometheus purple hop bucking and nub. A matched bucking maximises the consistency this precision bore is capable of.

Why 6.03mm rather than a tighter 6.01mm bore?

6.03mm is the sweet spot for most skirmish builds. It gains accuracy over a stock barrel while staying more tolerant of BB quality and less prone to fouling or jams than ultra-tight 6.01mm bores.
