Specification

A Compact Raven Sidearm

The R9 is one of the smaller pistols in the Raven range, a green gas blowback sidearm built to the same standard as the EU7 and the Hi-Capa line that we sell a great many of. If you want something compact that will not take up half a drop leg holster, it is worth a look.

Black Or Two Tone

Like the EU7 it comes in two finishes. The black version is a realistic imitation firearm and needs a valid defence such as UKARA registration to buy. The blue and black two tone is exempt, so it is available to anyone over 18 who has not yet got their site registration sorted. Choose the finish at the top of this page.

Come And Handle It

Nuprol have not published a full specification sheet for the R9, and we would rather tell you that than print numbers we cannot stand behind. What we can do is put one in your hand. The shop is in Rochester and we have an indoor range on site, so you can try it and chrono it before you decide. Ring us and we will tell you exactly what it does.

Do I need UKARA to buy the Raven R9?

For the black version, yes, and you must be over 18. The blue and black two tone version is exempt from that requirement, so it is a good option if you have not yet completed your site registration.

What FPS does the R9 shoot at?

Nuprol have not published a velocity figure for this model, so we are not going to guess one. Bring it to our Rochester range, or ring the shop, and we will chrono one and tell you exactly what it does.

What gas does it use?

Green gas, filled into the magazine. Nuprol 2.0 is the usual choice for this range of pistols.

How does it compare to the Raven EU7?

The EU7 is our best selling pistol and has a fully published specification behind it, so it is the safer recommendation if you are buying unseen. The R9 is the more compact option. Both come in a two tone finish.
