The WE EU17 Gen 3 is an excellent copy of the third generation polymer-framed service pistol, here in a two tone finish. An alloy slide sits over a polymer frame for a solid but manageable weight of around 740 g, and the green gas blowback delivers a snappy slide and genuine recoil.

Site-friendly performance

Firing 6mm BBs at around 280 to 300 FPS on 0.20g, it slots neatly inside most UK site pistol limits. An adjustable hop-up lets you dial in range and accuracy, while the slide locks back on an empty magazine for a realistic reload. Keep it fed with quality green gas and BBs.

Two tone exempt

Does this pistol need UKARA?

No. This is the two tone version, which is exempt under the VCRA and can be bought without a UKARA registration or defence. The bright finish marks it out as a clearly recognisable two tone airsoft gun.

What gas does it use?

The EU17 runs on green gas, held in the drop-in magazine. Warm ambient temperatures give a snappier slide and higher velocity, while very cold conditions will reduce performance.

How many BBs does the magazine hold?

The included green gas magazine holds around 24 to 25 rounds of 6mm BB. It is compatible with WE and Tokyo Marui EU-series magazines, so spares are easy to source.

Is it a good beginner sidearm?

Yes. It is often recommended as a friendly starter pistol, with a solid feel, adjustable hop-up and a slide that locks back on empty for a realistic reload cycle.

Can I fit a torch or laser?

Yes. There is a 20mm accessory rail under the barrel for mounting a tactical light or laser, and a threaded outer barrel on many units suits tracer units and mock suppressors.
