The Rocket (SHS) 7mm CNC bearings replace the stock bushings in your airsoft AEG gearbox with precision steel ball bearings. Because the gears roll on bearings rather than sliding in plain bushings, friction drops and the whole gear train spins more freely.

Built to last

Each bearing is CNC-machined from bearing steel, oil-grooved for smooth running and heat-treated to cope with the repeated loads of a working gearbox. The set of six is exactly what a standard V2 or V3 gearbox needs to cover all three gears.

What you gain

Lower friction means the motor works less hard to turn the gears, which can improve rate of fire, sharpen trigger response and reduce strain on your battery. It is one of the most cost-effective internal upgrades you can make.

Fitting and setup

These fit standard 7mm Tokyo Marui spec gearboxes. Whenever you change bushings you should re-shim the gears, so pair them with a shim set and browse our airsoft accessories for the rest. Not confident opening a gearbox? Our Kent repair and servicing team can handle it.

How many bearings are in a pack?

Six, which is exactly what a standard V2 or V3 gearbox needs for its three gears (three pairs). No need to buy two packs for a single build.

Are bearings better than bushings?

Bearings roll rather than slide, so they cut friction and let the gears spin more freely. That can improve rate of fire and trigger response and ease the load on your motor and battery. The trade-off is they can be less tolerant of very high-stress, high-FPS setups than solid bushings, so match them to your build.

Will these fit my gearbox?

They fit standard 7mm Tokyo Marui spec gearboxes, which covers most V2 and V3 AEGs. Check that your gearbox uses 7mm bushings rather than 8mm before ordering.

Do I need to shim after fitting?

Yes. Any time you change bushings or bearings you should re-shim the gears for correct alignment and end float. A shim set makes this straightforward.

Can I fit these myself?

If you are comfortable opening a gearbox, yes. If not, our Kent airsoft repair and servicing team can fit and shim them for you.
