The SHS 13:1 gear set is an ultra high speed ratio built for players chasing a snappier trigger and a higher rate of fire. The sector gear cycles faster per motor turn than a stock 18:1 set, so you get more BBs per second without swapping to a more powerful spring.

Built tough

Each gear is CNC machined from hardened steel and heat treated for durability under load. The set comes complete with matched sector, spur and bevel gears, with a redesigned 10-tooth bevel and anti-reversal latches for fast, reliable rewind arrest.

Wide compatibility

These gears drop into standard Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes, covering the majority of M4, MP5, AK and G36 style AEGs. For the best balance of speed and reliability, pair them with a high torque motor and an 11.1V LiPo, and keep the spring at around M120 or lighter.

Fitting advice

What does a 13:1 ratio do?

It is a high speed ratio, meaning the sector gear turns more times per motor revolution than a stock 18:1 set. That raises your rate of fire, which is why it is popular in high ROF and DMR-style builds.

Will these fit my gun?

They fit standard Version 2 and Version 3 AEG gearboxes, which covers most M4, MP5, AK and G36 style replicas. Always confirm your gearbox version before ordering.

Do I need a special motor?

For best results use a high torque motor and an 11.1V LiPo. High speed gears draw more from the motor, so a torque motor keeps trigger response crisp and reduces strain.

Can a beginner fit these?

Fitting gears means fully stripping the gearbox and re-shimming for correct alignment. It is a technical job. If you are not confident, our Kent workshop can install and shim them for you.

What spring can I run?

This high speed set suits lighter springs up to around M120. For heavier springs a torque focused ratio such as 16:1 or 18:1 is a better match to protect the motor.
