Overview

The SHS Tappet Plate for the Version 7 (M14) Gearbox is a reinforced polymer replacement for one of the hardest-working parts in an AEG. It is shaped specifically for the M14-pattern V7 gearbox.

What it does

Driven by the sector gear, the tappet plate slides the air nozzle back to let a BB drop into the chamber, then forward to feed that BB into the hop unit. Correct tappet timing is essential for reliable feeding, so a sound plate is key to consistent cycling.

Built for tougher builds

The reinforced polymer resists flex and cracking, which matters in high-speed and higher-FPS DMR-style builds where the plate sees more stress. It is a direct replacement for a worn, cracked or broken stock plate.

Fitting

Swapping a tappet plate means opening the gearbox and correctly seating the tappet spring and nozzle, so it is best handled with the gearbox apart for a service. Our Kent airsoft repair team can fit it during a rebuild, and more internal parts are listed under airsoft accessories.
