Overview
The ASG Ultimate Upgrade Series V2 Tappet Plate is a hard-wearing replacement for the plastic tappet plate inside Version 2 airsoft AEG gearboxes. It is the part responsible for pushing the air nozzle forward to chamber each BB, so a tired or cracked plate is one of the most common causes of feeding faults.
Why upgrade
Standard tappet plates are a known weak point: the thin nozzle arm flexes, wears and eventually snaps under repeated cycling. This Ultimate plate is moulded from heat-resistant reinforced polymer, the same material ASG uses across its Ultimate range, so it shrugs off the friction and heat generated by upgraded springs and higher rates of fire.
Fitment and compatibility
It fits standard Version 2 gearboxes as used in M4, M16, G3 and MP5 series replicas from the major manufacturers and their clones. Always confirm your rifle runs a V2 shell, as Version 3 gearboxes use a different plate.
Fitting and servicing
