A Small Part That Stops The Gun
The air nozzle sits at the front of the cylinder head and does two jobs on every shot: it seals against the hop rubber so the air goes behind the BB rather than around it, and it pushes the next BB forward into the chamber. It does that thousands of times a day and it is made to be a wear item.
The Symptoms
A worn or cracked nozzle shows up as misfeeds, double feeds, BBs rolling out of the barrel, or a sudden drop in range that no amount of hop adjustment fixes. People often chase this through the magazine and the hop rubber first. If you have a gun that has done a lot of rounds and has started feeding badly, look here.
⚠️ Get The Length Right
Nozzle length is not a detail, it is the whole thing. A nozzle a millimetre too short or too long will feed badly no matter how good the rest of the gun is, and lengths differ between platforms and sometimes between manufacturers of the same platform. ASG do not publish a length for this part, so measure the one you are replacing, or bring the gun to us.
Fitting
Not sure whether this is the right part for your gun, or would rather someone else fitted it? Our Rochester workshop services and upgrades AEGs in house, and we would rather check compatibility with you first than have you order twice.
