The Laylax Prometheus EG Hard Gear Set is a standard torque 18:1 gearset for Version 2 and Version 3 airsoft gearboxes. Made in Japan from forged, heat-treated steel, the set has earned a decade-long reputation for durability.

What You Get

The set includes matched spur, sector and bevel gears, precision machined for tight, quiet meshing. A modified tooth count reduces load on the anti-reversal latch each cycle, and a redesigned bevel gear sharpens semi-auto response.

Performance

An 18:1 ratio strikes a balanced compromise between rate of fire and torque, making it ideal for high-performance builds. Tested with an 11.1v LiPo and a high-torque motor on a strong spring, the set withstood over 10,000 rounds with no visible wear.
