The SHS 18:1 gear set matches the standard ratio found in the vast majority of factory AEGs, but is built to a far higher standard. CNC machined from hardened steel and heat treated, it is designed to shrug off the torque produced when you fit higher power springs.

An 18:1 ratio favours torque over outright speed, delivering a dependable rate of fire and crisp trigger response. That makes this set the sensible choice for players building for velocity and range rather than a very high rate of fire.

Wide compatibility

The complete set of matched sector, spur and bevel gears drops into standard Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes, covering most M4, MP5, AK and G36 platforms. The hardened steel construction is rated to handle springs from M120 up to M180.

Fitting advice

Gear replacement means fully stripping the gearbox and re-shimming, so accuracy matters. Our airsoft repair and servicing team in Kent can fit these correctly, or browse further internals in airsoft accessories.
