Precision CNC cylinder head

This FPS Softair cylinder head is CNC machined from Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy, then anodised for a smooth, hard-wearing surface. It replaces the softer factory head with a precise, durable unit that holds its shape and its seal under repeated firing cycles.

Built-in Urepan bumper

A key feature is the integrated Urepan bumper. It cushions the piston head at the end of each stroke, soaking up shock, cutting mechanical noise and protecting both the piston and the gearbox from the hammering they would otherwise take. That means a quieter action and longer component life.

Version 2 fitment

This head is made for Version 2 (V2) gearboxes, covering platforms such as the M4, M16, SR16, MP5, MC51, G3 and LR300, and it is compatible with ICS, Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, VFC and similar brands. Pair it with a matching piston head and nozzle for the best air seal.

Fitting and servicing

As an internal part, this is best fitted during a gearbox service. Our airsoft repair team in Kent can install and test it, and you can browse complementary parts in our airsoft accessories range.

What is Ergal and why does it matter?

Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. CNC machining it produces a precise, durable cylinder head that resists deformation better than cheaper cast or polymer heads, helping maintain a consistent air seal.

What does the built-in bumper do?

The integrated Urepan bumper cushions the piston head as it reaches the end of its travel, absorbing shock, reducing noise and protecting the piston and gearbox from repeated hard impacts.

Will this improve my rifle's performance?

A quality cylinder head improves the air seal at the front of the cylinder, which supports consistent compression and shot-to-shot stability. Best results come when it is paired with a good piston head, nozzle and hop-up.

Can I fit this myself?

It is an internal part, so fitting requires opening the gearbox. If you are not comfortable doing that, our workshop can fit and test it for you.
